Blogging from Reston, VA

Hi.

***

Sitting in the Hyatt Regency Hotel's Audobon room with my fellow AWP Board members. We're currently on lunch break.

Things are happening.

That's all I can say.

New Poem in Linebreak

The wonderful Sandy Longhorn reads my poem "Bad Daytime Movies" in Linebreak.

Both kids are sick with myster ailments. The 3-yr-old was up and down last night complaining of stomach pain. The 1-yr-old has a low-grade fever, doesn't want to eat, and has been sleeping for most of the day.

So I'm in full daddy mode before I head out to Washington DC for the AWP Board Meeting.

I hate to leave Meredith saddled with this . . .

I may or may not be able to post poems from the road. We'll see. As ever, if I miss a few days I'll post make-ups later.
