Kinda back

I'll see if I can contribute a bit more to my journal. It's just been a hectic two weeks with deadlines for the anthology as well as kid illnesses, daycare stuff, and the usual humdrum of relatives coming in for Thanksgiving.

I left the manuscript in progress at a place where I couldn't resolve certain issues, and I come back to that same place without any resolutions. This, in the scheme of writing, is typical. I'm just going to have to plow ahead. I know that I want to write just a little more about the boy and his minotaur, but not to the depth of what I did with the "Dear Empire" poems.
